The Sarajevo Garden of the Righteous
a "civil courage" project against ethnic cleansing
The project has been proposed to Sarajevo's municipality by Gariwosa, the Bosnian chapter of Gardens of the Righteous Worldwide Committee-Gariwo created and run by Svetlana Broz, author of the book Good People in an Evil Time, where Marshal Tito's granddaughter collected the episodes of rescue of the persecuted during ethnic cleansing in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
