Dimitar Peshev Home Museum

Inaugurated in 2002, the museum is in the house in which Dimitar Peshev was born and is financed by the Israeli embassy in Bulgaria. The Raoul Wallenberg Foundation has awarded the institute a commemorative medal dedicated to Peshev. It features an exhibition about the rescue of the Bulgarian Jews during the Holocaust. The Museum-House is run by the regional historical museum Yordan Yvanov based in Kjustendil.
